About Us
Early versions of Codon were developed as part of PhD work at MIT, initially with a focus on genomics and bioinformatics. Once we realized our technology can have broader applications, we decided to take the project to the next level and founded Exaloop. We're passionate about data science, compilers and programming languages, and our mission is to make high-performance computing accessible to anyone with a basic Python background.
